As I walk down the dimly lit pavement of Sukhumvith,a fantastic female gives me a million dollar smile , like a long lost friend,unsuspecting I smile back and then I realize oh what have I done!Now I have lost the way to the place I want to go , I approach a tuk-tuk (its an auto) driver for help ,and lo! he holds a catalogue in front of him and utters in hindi panch soo!no wonder Indians do help in increasing the GDP of Thailand.After all this you get into a cab , what do you get to see ..the same catalogue!
Well this is not all one would have stumbled upon .. On the roads you see 60 year old whites walking with poor 20 yr old "escorts" holding their hands like a owner who walks his poor pet ,afraid that she would run away if he let go her hand ,for all the money he has paid..and to add a new dimension to all this you sometimes see another old white cajoling his thai "male escort" at a shopping mall who wants to utilize this oppurtunity to buy himself an expensive item!
and now I have seen it all!
and to come out of this all unscathed ..well thats an achievment by itself! and friends I take a bow!! |

well a post after a long time.nothing much has happened since tho'..but things are sure better than what they were before on the work front.
one nice hap was meeting our dear old nandan p d and seena ( from IS) here!! they were on a vacation to bangkok and they some how contacted me .. we met up at an Indian restraunt at almost 10:30 in the night and later went out shopping! its really strange how things change.. seena's house is just 5 mins walk from mine and we meet so many miles away from home!
oh ya ,need to confirm my return tickets for june 4th! |

onsite maintenance suckkks maan! very few ppl are lucky to get "onsite development".
theres no goodfriday , no saturday , no sunday not even sunday nights :( and to add to woes no food when u return home.. man cant stop complaining..... |

updating my journal atlast!
today is my second day @ the clients' place and net access is determined by ur skill of using Alt-Tab!landed in bangkok saturday afetnoon after about 4 hrs lay over @ Singapore Changi..was surprised to see how many indians were sleeping there on the floor! well i too joined them !spent saturday and sunday shopping @ a place called seacon supposed to be one of the biggest shopping malls in the world ,at least the biggest I've seen.
well i guess i will end now as that guy over there with a damn flat nose has been looking at me for some time now. |

Till recently I always thought how much fun it'd be when you gate crash into a party! well i kindda did that .abt 50 ppl were expected there and "we" tht we'd go unnoticed,but alas there were not more than 15 ppl and I was conspicuous by my presence and the rest is history !learnt a lesson of my life time... |
